Description:
Over  a 1000 years old, Delhis has been been an important urban center from at least the 11th century ruled by 7 dynasties and the British. It thus contains ancient pilgramge centers, abandoned cities, a thricing medival city, a colonial capital and urban villages all within a expanding modern city. In this experience, our expert will showcase for you the story of these historical cities of Delhi. You will hear about the history and mythology of these cities and discuss people and events which defined them.
Highlights:

•  Purana Qila, the site of the first and sixth city.
•  Mehaurali, The Qutub Minar, and its surrounding area where the second city developed .
•  Drive past the massive bastions of Tughlakabad, the abandoned fourth city.

Duration:
This experience is expected to last approximately 4 hours including travel time.

• Skirts, shorts etc. should be longer than knee length.

What to Wear:
Guests are advised to wear conservative clothing and comfortable walking shoes. A hat, as protection against the sun, is recommended especially between the months of April and October.

Guests are urged to bring bottled water, sunglasses and sunscreen.
